Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum, Bearer Of Good News

Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum received his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has been in practice in the Bronx for over twenty years. He still practices in the Bronx and is the chairman of Orthopedics at Bronxcare Health System. This is good news for people who suffer from partially injured knees.

As we can see by viewing the U Tube video, titled The Alternative to Knee Replacement, Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum does indeed bring good news. This youtube video shows us some examples of people for whom a total knee replacement was not feasible. Clients didn’t want to deal with the downtime after surgery. These people with partial knee Osteoarthritis had to live with the pain and constant need for pain pills. For these people Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum has provided an alternative.

Google the video The Alternative To Knee Replacement. As the video explains, for people with damage to part of the knee, partial knee replacement can resolve their problems. The knee has three parts, and only one part may be damaged. This is true for seventy percent of people with knee problems. They are able to have treated that part of the knee by having resurfaced part of it with steel and medical plastic. While this would not be a good treatment for those with severe arthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis, those with partial knee arthritis may be able to have only the affected part of the knee resurfaced, thanks to Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum. These people can keep the feeling in most of the knees, and trauma is minimized to the good bone and tissue.

This is wonderful news from Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum for most people who suffer from partial knee problems.

OSI Industries: Timeline of Company Development

The OSI Industries was established in 1909, and through its more than a hundred year history, the company has gone under several changes, and it grew from a small neighborhood meat shop to a top 500 Forbes company. Founded by Otto Kolschowsky in 1909, the OSI Industries was a small meat shop back then, operating in Chicago. The company was referred back then as the Otto & Sons, and its founder worked hard to increase the number of his business locations. Decades after it was first founded, the company found a way to grow bigtime after McDonald’s Corporation chose them to become their official burger patty supplier.

The success of McDonald’s Corporation affected Otto & Sons positively, enabling them to open their first plant in 1973, solely for the creation of burger patties that will be delivered to the fast-growing chain of restaurants. Two years later, Otto & Sons dropped their initial business name and changed it to OSI Industries, a name exclusively used in the United States. The company started to open more plants across the United States, and in 1978, they started operating overseas. Their first plant on foreign soil was built in Germany, through a joint venture. More plants located overseas started to open – one in Spain, and another one in Brazil, which was the first in South America. In 1987, the company managed to open their first plants in Asia, through a venture with the K&K. The company found continuous expansion through the years, mostly in Europe and Asia.

By the new millennium, the company has seen an aggressive expansion phase, and they started to venture into producing poultry and other processed food products. They also started to acquire smaller firms that are operating in the same industry. They have entered new markets, like Japan, and started building a high-quality processing plant for meat products. The OSI Industries started to acquire more brands under its name, mostly those who are operating outside the United States. The company has also spread its influence in five continents by the year 2010, and they are still planning to build more plants around the world.

In the present, the company is working hard to increase the profit that they are creating each year. According to reports, the OSI Industries manage to create more than $6 billion profit each year, and that value keeps on increasing over time as more brands are being acquired generating more sales for the industry giant.
